Governors Park North Community Development District
The Governors Park North Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on June 4, 2025 by the Board of County Commissioners of Clay County, Ordinance No. 2025-13 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The Governors Park North CDD is located entirely within Clay County, Florida and covers approximately 802 acres of land. The site is generally located north of State Road No. 23, northwest of U.S. Highway 17S, west of County Road 15A, and south of County Road 16A.
The services provided by the District are described in Chapter 190, Florida Statutes.

The Governors Park North Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on June 4, 2025 by the Board of County Commissioners of Clay County, Ordinance No. 2025-13 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
The powers and functions of the District are described in Chapter 190, Florida Statutes Supervisors to finance, fund, plan, establish, acquire, construct, reconstruct, enlarge, or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems and facilities for parks and facilities for indoor and outdoor recreational, cultural, and educational uses, and for security, all as authorized and described by Section 190.012(2)(a) and (2)(d), Florida Statutes.
